So now all the “buzz” of the iPhone 4 is over it is time to review our experience with this new apple device.
Overall I think iPhone 4 is a tremendous phone. The biggest selling point for me has to be the retina display, it really is true that
you can not see any of the pixels on the new retina display

This new display is immediately noticeable even when the phone is booting up with the apple logo. When browsing the web and looking at photos the quality is crisp and sharp. I give the iPhone 4 a 10/10 for the retina display.
The new 720p video capabilities is good too, the iPhone 4 compares well to other rivals like the Evo 4G as both the sound quality and low light situations pass with flying colours. I give a 7/10 in this area.
Ok, now with the bad stuff. I will start with the dreaded reception loss when you hold the iPhone 4 in a certain way. Apple simply says:
Then hold it differently.
I mean what use is a phone if it cannot make calls; connect to the internet etc. A major design flaw is the cause of this and no amount of software updates will fix it. A 2/10.
And finally the yellow discoloration on the iPhone 4′s screen. This is caused by an apparent miss-hap with the manufacturing machine leaving too much residue of yellow adhesive on the lcd screen. I give this aspect a 3/10.
Overall I think that the iPhone 4 is a great phone id you don’t already have an iPhone but I would not recommend upgrading your previous iPhone unless you want a HD video recorder built in to your phone.
